Learn MoreBrad, a Colorado native met his wife Angela while in New Zealand as a Rotary Foundation Scholar. Both had short term missions experience but decided they needed more skills. Brad gained his DVM and Angela her nursing degree. Introduced to CVM in vet school, Brad and Angela were eventually recruited by CVM to Uganda in 1995-99 working with oxen restocking and family/children’s ministries. Brad now works with CVM in Seattle to recruit, train, send and support veterinarians in the field.
During the down turn in the economy CVM was disappointed to have to let some of our great home office staffs go. However mission work has not slowed down any. In the last 12 months we have seen a 10% increase in the number of short term volunteers. We have sent new long term missionaries in Mozambique, Bolivia, Kenya and were able to return a missionary to Haiti.
