The new CVM app is now available in the Apple App Store, Google Play Store, and Amazon Appstore. CVM created the app to be a tool for veterinarians, vet professionals, and students to grow in their faith and profession. Click here to download the app.
The app is full of resources. In it, you can read devotionals, participate in a daily Bible reading plan, look for jobs, externships, plus check out upcoming Short Term Mission Trips. You can pray for others or be prayed for by posting to the Prayer Wall. There is a resource library with notes from veterinary experts and guest speakers at CVM events like Real Life Real Impact.
CVM hopes that the app will be a tool that saves lives. According to the Journal of American Veterinary Medical Association, veterinarians are 3.5 times more likely to die by suicide than the rest of the general population. CVM included a Suicide Prevention resource providing information on what to do if you or someone you know are considering suicide. It is a resource all veterinary professionals should have on their phone.
The CVM app also allows users to share resources with friends and colleagues. When you read a devotion, watch a video or find something you think a colleague would find interesting, with a click of a button you can share that resource with that person via text, email, or on social media.
Lastly, the new app makes it even easier to partner and give toward the work of CVM. You can donate once or sign up for recurring giving in less than a minute. It is safe, secure and an easy way to make a difference.
