CVM Comes Together
The 12th annual National CVM Conference took place in Seattle the first week of Oct and brought together 23 of our 45 sites. We were honored to have speaker Lynda Coates share her story and insight on communication and poverty.

Congratulations to Lori Morton and Tulsa CVM, winner of the 2009 Golden Phone Award for exemplary contribution to the community and to the CVM Federation. Listen to Lori's passionate message which illustrates her commitment to the program and clients. Also listen to Miss Betty one of her many great clients.

Giving Challenge
Through our Facebook cause we are gathering supporters and raising awareness so that we can keep those in need connected to what they need most to transform their lives.

America's Giving Challenge is a national competition that encourages people to leverage their personal networks and online social media to help win cash awards. Participants in the challenge will compete for daily and overall cash awards based on the number of donations generated for a cause, not dollars raised. Awards will be given to the nonprofit beneficiaries of the causes that garner the highest number of unique daily donations with the challenge ending on November 6, 2009.

Join our cause and help us meet our goal of most daily donations.  This is a challenge based on number of donations not amount. Give whatever you can on Wed Oct. 28th to help us win this challenge and $1,000!
