Job Description: Acton Veterinary Group (Acton Animal Hospital and Morgan Street Animal Hospital) is a 2.5 doctor, small animal hospital group located in Granbury TX approximately 30 minutes from Ft Worth. We have that small town feel but still very close to the big city. Our mission at Acton Veterinary Group is to make a difference in our clients, our patients, and our teams. We strive to offer care tailored to our patient’s and client’s needs.

We accept veterinary students in all years. Externs would be expected to work Monday through Saturday during business hours. Externs are expected to think like a doctor. This means you will do exams, then produce a problem list and a treatment plan. We are here to oversee that plan and guide you on the correct path. We do surgery daily and expect students to be a part of surgeries and anesthesia.

Job Details: Housing is available. Unpaid externship. We expect all students to bring a good work ethic and be willing to be flexible. In return we will allow students to see the management of a clinic. We expect them to come with an open mind and a willingness to work.  (Colossians 3 – Whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through Him to God the Father.)
